No family should have to wonder where their loved one is. On 7th October 2023, Palestinian Hamas abducted 251 people and took them hostage in Gaza. For more than two years, their families endured the anguish of not knowing their fate. The hostages are finally home, but the trauma and enduring impact on them, their families and Israeli society remain. On the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances, we stand with every family denied answers about someone they love. Every family deserves answers. Every victim deserves to be accounted for.
